We thought we'd provide an update on the latest regarding Genius Funds.

Update @ 16:57 GMT
A user has kindly reported the following:
Spoke to customer service on the phone twice and here are the results.
I just finished a phone call with Alicia, a customer service agent for GF.
I only had to redial about 45 times to get past "busy" then hold about 20 minutes to reach her. Given the hysteria, I expected it to be worse.
Alivia contends that GF continues to deal with severe technical issues. She assured me that by Monday all issues, withdrawals and website access will be resolved.
...
After my call with Alicia, I read on the blogs/forums that the Customer Services for GF were outsourced so my call meant nothing. In light of that I called them back this morning...
A few moments ago I spoke with probably the same Nancy as everyone mentions. Nancy's English isn't great and our conversation was a bit labored but eventually she seemed to confirm that
she does not "work for a company that answers phones for Genius Funds"
she does know Mark Stelvio and has seen him this week
she works in a building that is operated by GF
When she asked why I was asking such questions I explained that people feared Genius had closed the company. Her response was that the company was not closed, otherwise why would they be answering the phone?
I realize that for those intent on this being the worst case scenario, no amount of words from any source will be convincing. Our calls to Nancy and Alicia certainly do not qualify as evidence but I find them encouraging and choose to see good things ahead.

We have been provided with the following from a user doing some research on Genius Funds:
"I've called the Price Waterhouse Coopers office that is housed in the same building as Genius Funds in Limassol and they confirmed to me that there are Official Genius Funds Employees and that there are a lot of jobs being done in the past few days, very crowded and very busy, so this is at least one confirmation that they actually exist there."
Turns out Price Waterhouse Coopers do exist at 6 Karaiskakis Street, Limassol, you can see their address by visiting the Price Waterhouse Coopers website, so we have no reasons to doubt this claim.
Also here's a photo of the building. We presume Genius Funds to have offices on one of the floors above Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Another user has reported receiving an email back from Genius Funds, albeit an automated reply, but still a reply nonetheless.
"Dear Sirs,
Your e-mail was received and will be replied to. Please do not resend your e-mail again if it is not answered immediately. There is currently large number of customers requiring assistance and e-mails cannot be expected to be replied to in minutes. We try to answer all e-mails within 48 hours.
Thank you for your understanding"
So, this is fairly encouraging. But it's still a waiting game for the time being.
